Crouch Taking on High Limit in 2024

LUBBOCK, TX: Brenham Crouch is known for his Midget exploits, but he’s made a quick impression since joining the 410 Sprint Car ranks full time last season.

Despite only having three starts in 2022, Crouch came out strong and kept that momentum throughout the season to capture the Interstate Racing Association title. Along the way, he also nailed down his first career 410 Sprint Car win at Wilmot Raceway.

Now, Crouch is ready to take the next step in his racing career. The 18-year-old driver will continue to learn and hone his skills as a member of the competitive High Limit Racing circuit as a full-time member in 2024.

“We had really good momentum all year long, even when we were still learning,” Crouch said. “We kept building on that, and Austin and I kept learning each other, and the feedback kept getting better.

“We thought it would be cool to run with High Limit, and we had the opportunity with my Dad and everybody helping out. I feel like we are carrying some momentum from last year after bouncing around between the Outlaws, High Limit, and even the POWRi stuff we did. We are looking to make the move to the next level, and I feel like that is what fits us best now.”

After winning the 2022 POWRi Midget title, Crouch tackled the Sprint Car division. He racked up 21 top fives and 28 top 10s in 49 starts, using his Wilmot win and consistency to claim the IRA crown.

Things will be a little more difficult on the High Limit circuit, but Crouch is ready for the next move. He hopes to learn more behind the wheel and compete with some of the best drivers in all of Sprint Car racing.

“Not only do you get to race with really good guys every night, the money is there as well,” Crouch said. “The series is doing really good things for the sport.

“I feel like it’s going to be a really good experience and will make us better at big-purse shows. Those big purses are going to bring more guys with experience, and that’s just going to make us propel ourselves forward.”
